The background of this research is that some students are still lacking discipline in worship, lack good manners, and lack social awareness. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis & McTaggart spiral model consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles with 11 grade XII students as subjects consisting of 6 male students and 5 female students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in students' religious character from cycle I by 70% to 85% in cycle II. This increase was especially seen in religious discipline, polite attitudes towards teachers, and social awareness among students. Thus, the example of Fiqh teachers has proven effective in shaping students' religious character and plays an important role in creating a religious madrasah atmosphere, so that it can form a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also spiritually and morally mature.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens of Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/376EFFORTS TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD THROUGH THE CASE STUDY METHOD IN THE COURSE OF CREED AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN GRADE XII STUDENTS OF MA WALISONGO 2 BANYUANYAR PROBOLINGGO2025-11-10T06:01:16+07:00Ikromulloh Hakikikikiadege28@gmail.comAinur Rofiq Sofabungaaklirik@gmail.com
This study aims to improve students’ understanding of the concept of Ukhuwah Islamiah through the implementation of the case study learning method within a Classroom Action Research (CAR) framework. This method combines the analysis of real-life cases with interactive discussions to create a more meaningful learning process, encourage active participation, and enhance students’ critical and analytical thinking skills. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four main stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and systematic reflection. The research subjects were 18 students of class XII at MA Walisongo Banyuanyar Probolinggo. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of Ukhuwah Islamiah, as evidenced by the learning outcomes tests conducted at the end of each cycle. In addition, students’ participation in classroom activities, their collaboration skills in group work, and their critical and analytical thinking abilities also showed positive progress based on observation results. These findings demonstrate that the case study method is effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and student achievement in Akidah Akhlak subjects at the Madrasah Aliyah level. This approach also helps create a more active, collaborative, and engaging classroom environment. Therefore, the case study method is recommended as a strategic alternative for teachers to improve the quality of instruction and to foster deeper and more sustainable student engagement and conceptual understanding.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens of Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/377EFFECTIVENESS OF AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT MANAGEMENT IN IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES A STUDY ON IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS XIB MA NURUL HASAN MARON PROBOLINGGO2025-11-10T06:06:39+07:00Riska Mahalilariskamahalila@gmail.comShobirin Shobirinbirinsho489@gail.com
Authentic assessment is an evaluation approach that emphasizes the active involvement of students in the learning process through contextual and meaningful tasks. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of authentic assessment management in improving student learning outcomes in class XIB MA Nurul Hasan, Maron, Probolinggo. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 18 class XIB students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the implementation of structured and systematic authentic assessment management can significantly improve student learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in students' average grades in each cycle and increased student engagement in learning activities. Important elements in authentic assessment management include the use of clear rubrics, project-based assessments, portfolios, and student self-reflection. With proper management, authentic assessment can encourage students to think critically, creatively, and take responsibility for their learning process. Therefore, authentic assessment management is very effective in improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens of Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/378APPLICATION OF THE HANIFIDA METHOD IN IMPROVING STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING AND MEMORY ON THE MATERIAL OF THE PROGRESS AND DECLINE OF THE USTMANI DAULAH IN GRADE XI OF STATE MADRASAH ALIYAH 1 PROBOLINGGO2025-11-10T09:54:13+07:00M. The Hanifida method, which combines interactive and visual approaches, is believed to facilitate students in capturing and remembering historical material more optimally. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The analysis focuses on students' experiences and responses during the learning process using the Hanifida method compared to conventional methods. The teaching and learning process shows that the application of the Hanifida method contributes positively to increasing students' absorption and ability to remember the material taught. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Hanifida method is worthy of being used as an alternative learning strategy to deepen understanding and improve students' memory in history lessons at the Madrasah Aliyah level.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens on Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/379A PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING (PBL) MODEL IN UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF IJMA' QIYAS IN GRADE XII STUDENTS DARUL MUKHLASIN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL2025-11-10T09:59:43+07:00Ahmad Baidhowiahmadeidho@gmail.comImam Bukhorimasimam.bukhori@gmail.com
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the concepts of faith, Islam, and ihsan through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method in grade XII of Darul Mukhlasin High School. The background of this research is the low understanding of students regarding the integration of the concepts of faith, Islam, and ihsan which are the basis for the formation of a complete Muslim personality. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 30 grade XII students of Darul Mukhlasin High School. Data were collected through observation, comprehension tests, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the application of the PBL learning model was able to improve students' understanding of the concepts of faith, Islam, and ihsan. In the first cycle, the average student understanding score reached 72.3 with 66% completion, while in the second cycle it increased to 86.7 with 93% completion. In addition, student learning activities also increased from the category of quite active to very active. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning method is effective in improving the understanding of the concepts of faith, Islam, and ihsan in class XII students of Darul Mukhlasin High School.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens on Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/381EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GRADE VI STUDENTS IN THE SCIENCE SUBJECT ON THE SIX CONTINENTS IN THE WORLD THROUGH THE GROUP RESUME LEARNING MODEL AT MI TARBIYATUL ISLAM2025-12-04T09:31:41+07:00Inayatul Maulainayahmaula.395@gmail.comFarich Purwantoro farich.physics@gmail.com
This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth grade students in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject on the Six Continents of the World through the Group Resume Learning Model at MI Tarbiyatul Islam. The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes caused by conventional learning, lack of active student involvement, and weak student abilities in summarizing and communicating geographic information. The pre-cycle results showed that the average student score only reached 66.5, with the majority being in the low (44.4%) and very low (11.1%) categories, which indicates that the learning process is still dominated by lecture methods and the use of textbooks, so that students are less active and have difficulty in understanding abstract concepts. This study aims to improve student understanding through the use of diorama media with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and McTaggart, which includes four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 18 class V B students of MI Zainul Anwar in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Research data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, field notes, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively to describe the development of student understanding and their involvement in the learning process. The results of the study showed a significant increase in each cycle, where the average student score increased from 66.5 in the pre-cycle to 79.25 in the first cycle, and reached 86.5 in the second cycle. The percentage of students in the high category also increased from 11.1% in the pre-cycle to 33.3% in the first cycle, and 66.7% in the second cycle. Classically, this study was declared successful because more than 85% of students had achieved minimum mastery. Thus, the application of diorama media through the PjBL learning model has proven effective in improving the understanding of ecosystem concepts, while encouraging active involvement, creativity, and student cooperation in the learning process.
2025-12-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens on Islamic Education https://proceeding.unzah.ac.id/index.php/acie/article/view/383EFFORTS TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS 2A STUDENTS IN ENGLISH LEARNING ON THE MATERIAL "IT IS MY FAMILY" THROUGH THE INDEX CARD MATCH METHOD ASSISTED BY VISUAL MEDIA (WAYANG GAMBAR) MI NAHDLATUL ULAMA KRAKSAAN2025-12-04T09:49:27+07:00Imro’atus Sa’adah R.Simroatussaadahrs14@gmail.comFirdaus Ainul Yaqin Firdoz10@gmail.com
This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class 2A students of MI Nahdlatul Ulama Kraksaan through the implementation of Index Card Match combined with visual media of wayang gambar. The research subjects were 27 students and was carried out in two cycles covering planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations of student engagement, and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. English learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah plays an important role in equipping students to face global challenges, but learning outcomes at the initial stage were still low. Based on the initial data, only a few students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 70, with an average score of only 44.4 and completeness of 7.4%. This occurred because learning was still focused on the teacher as the center of learning activities and minimal student involvement. After the implementation of the Index Card Match method assisted by wayang gambar media, there was a significant improvement. In Cycle I, the average student score rose to 75.9 with a completion rate of 74.1%, and in Cycle II, it increased again to 90.8 with a completion rate of 92.6%. In addition to the increase in scores, student activity also progressed from low to very active. Therefore, the implementation of the Indx Card Match method, supported by wayang gambar visual media, is effective as an innovative strategy to improve student learning outcomes and engagement in English learning in elementary schools or Islamic elementary schools.
2025-12-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Proceedings of Annual Conferens on Islamic Education
