INNOVATION OF WAQF SLIPPERS FOR THE COMFORT OF STUDENTS AT THE ISLAMIC SCHOOL DARUL LUGHAH WAL KARAMAH

Islamic boarding school is an educational environment that demands high mobility for students in carrying out daily activities. One of the problems that often occurs is the loss, mix-up, or damage of santri sandals due to intensive use. This research aims to describe the innovation of waqaf sandals for the convenience of students at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah (DWK) Islamic Boarding School. The method used in the service is the ABCD approach. The subjects are administrators and students. This method was carried out at the DWK boarding school. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students felt comfortable and peaceful. They do not need to buy new slippers because they lost them. This program carries a system of providing free sandals used by students in the mosque area, dormitories, and study rooms. In addition to providing practical benefits, this innovation also supports the spirit of sharing, a sense of responsibility and mutual cooperation in the pesantren environment. This waqaf concept also teaches the value of social care and optimal utilization of waqaf goods. However, the sustainability of this program requires a good management system, including the regular procurement of sandals and education to students about the importance of maintaining shared facilities. Thus, the innovation of waqaf slippers can be an effective solution in improving the comfort of students in pesantren and strengthening social values in their lives. The implementation of this program is expected to be a model for other pesantren in managing santri facilities better and more sustainably.
