The rapid development of digital technology has transformed research practices, particularly in the use of social media as a data source and research object. In the context of Arabic Language Education, students are required not only to possess linguistic competence but also to develop digital literacy and research skills that are relevant to contemporary advancements. However, in practice, many students still face limitations in critically and methodologically utilizing social media for research purposes. Therefore, a systematic effort is needed to enhance both digital literacy and research competence through adaptive approaches, one of which is the netnography method. This community service program aims to improve students' digital literacy and social media research competence in Arabic Language Education through training in netnography methods. The implementation employs a participatory approach consisting of training sessions, guided practice, and evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of digital literacy concepts and netnography methods, as well as their skills in conducting systematic and critical social media-based research. Students are also able to produce simple netnography-based research designs relevant to Arabic Language Education. Therefore, this program contributes to enhancing students' academic capacity in adapting to digital developments and encourages the production of innovative research based on social media.
