Abstract

Listening skills in the English learning process are the initial stage for students in learning good

English, this learning process requires effective interaction, and increasing students' cognitive abilities in understanding listening skills. Listening skills themselves are an important aspect in language learning, both foreign and national languages. Therefore, listening skills are very

necessary for students in the learning process, especially in English lessons, however,

understanding listening skills is often a problem for students at Masduqiah Middle School, several common challenges faced by students at Masduqiah Middle School, specifically in class VIII, in

understanding listening skills. Often female students at Masduqiah Middle School have difficulty understanding listening skills due to several factors that make students at Masduqiah Middle


School have difficulty in listening skills, one of which is because they feel tired almost every night with full activities at the Maduqiah Islamic Boarding School. Therefore, there is a need for a delivery method from a teacher to overcome this problem. From the background of this problem, the

researcher found a new method for delivering material, especially in English, with the aim of

making it easier for female students at Msduqiah Middle School to understand listening skills easily.

Because of this, there are several methods used by researchers to overcome this problem, namely learning variant strategies, student habituation, and physical activity as an effort to increase listening skills which is very effective and provides a significant increase in listening skills for female students at Masduqiah Middle School. .
