PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKS IKLAN DI KELAS 8 SMP UNGGULAN ZAINUL HASAN GENGGONG

This research aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning learning model in learning advertising texts in class 8 of Zainul Hasan Genggong Superior Middle School. Using a narrative qualitative approach and personal experience reflection methods, the author as an educator documents interactions during the learning process. The main data source comes from interactions between writers and students, with data collection techniques in the form of reflective journals. The research results show that the application of Discovery Learning has succeeded in increasing students' activeness and understanding of advertising materials. Activities that involve students in looking for examples of advertising text, analyzing information, and actively discussing create a dynamic learning atmosphere. It is hoped that this research can provide insight and effective strategies for educators in improving the quality of Indonesian language teaching.
