Abstract

English Area is a daily program where this activity is carried out every day in order to support the improvement of students’ speaking skills at SPM Al-Mashduqiah. The purpose of this study is 1) To analyze the implementation of the English Area program in mastering students’ speaking skills. 2) The effectiveness of the implementation of the English Area program in mastering students’ speaking skills to improve students’ speaking skills by implementing programs that support English learning. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use steps starting from data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that the English Area program is very helpful in improving students’ speaking skills.
