Abstract

Research aims to increase student engagement and provide a fun and productive learning experience, crossword puzzles students are challenged to solve problems through mastery of the material they have studied. Learning media can be interpreted as anything that can convey information or content, to stimulate students' thoughts, feelings, attention and skills and aims to facilitate the teaching and learning process. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. This approach aims to find out how influential learning media is. towards understanding and creativity in understanding argumentation text material. The results of observations carried out by using objects for class XI students can be concluded that the use of crossword puzzles is a means of remembering what has been explained by the teacher. The results of this research use an observation assessment system, TTS helps students focus more on what an argumentative text is and what is a sub-part of an argumentative text to hone students' memories of material that has previously been presented
