PERSPEKTIF SISWA MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS ARGUMENTASI

Writing argumentative texts is an important skill that is often a challenge for students. The cooperative learning approach is considered a potential method to overcome this difficulty, but there has not been much research that explores students' perspectives in depth in this context. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of cooperative learning in improving the ability to write argumentative texts from a student's perspective. The method used was a qualitative case study with a sample of seven class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Paiton, where data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using narrative analysis. The results showed that cooperative learning significantly increased student engagement and the quality of the argumentative texts they produced, with students reporting benefits from collaboration in groups and constructive feedback. The implications of this research include the application of cooperative learning strategies in teaching practice as well as attention to the issue of the digital divide to ensure fair access for all students. These findings contribute to the collaborative learning literature and suggest broader application of this method in educational contexts.
