FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DIFFICULTIES AT SMAN 1 MARON KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO

This research aims to find factors that cause students at SMAN 1 MARON to experience difficulties in learning English. This research uses qualitative methods. Data analysis includes three stages,namely data reduction,data exposure,conclusion and verification. The result of the research show that the difficulties faced by students at SMAN 1 MAROn in learning English are caused by two factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors come from within students such as lack of motivation, laziness, and awareness of the benefits of English. Meanwhile, external factors include little time to study English in the classroom, an environment that is less supportive of learning English,inadequate facilities and inadequate teaching resources.
