PERAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS SISWA DI PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

This research aims to explore the role of project-based learning (PBL) in increasing the creativity of class 8D students at SMPN 1 Besuk in Indonesian language subjects. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of documents resulting from student projects which involved the task of creating texts for observation reports and advertisements. The research results show that the application of the PBL model is able to increase student creativity in terms of problem solving, independence, collaboration and innovation. Through the projects given, students learn to connect theory with real applications, think critically, and produce creative and innovative work. PBL also succeeded in increasing learning enthusiasm and student involvement in the learning process. Thus, project-based learning has proven to be effective in increasing students’ creativity and skills in solving problems and collaborating in a dynamic learning environment.
