PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS SISWA DALAM PEMBUATAN IKLAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SPM AL-MASHDUQIAH

Abstract

One of the materials in the Indonesian language subject is making advertisements. In making advertisements, creativity is needed to make attractive advertisements. Therefore, a learning model is needed that can produce a product in the form of attractive advertisements, one of which is by implementing the Project Based Learning learning model. The project based learning model is learning that uses projects as a learning method. This is in accordance with the objectives of the study, namely to determine the application of the project based learning model in Indonesian language subjects and to analyze the application of project based learning in increasing student creativity in making advertisements. The place where the research took place was at SPM Al-Mashduqiah, involving teachers and 5 class VIII D students who were used as research informants. The approach used in this study was qualitative with a descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. While the data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show 1) the application of the project based learning model in the Indonesian language subject at SPM Al-Mashduqiah has been applied, and is often applied in learning, because it is considered very appropriate for the material whose final result is a product, and 2) the project based learning model can increase student creativity, in the form of increasing student imagination, students better understand the use of existing symbols, and increase students' level of thinking.
