PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU BAHASA INDONESIA PADA KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI TINGKAT SMA

This article aims to determine the development of Indonesian language teachers in the Merdeka curriculum at the Haf-sa Zainul Hasan BPPT Genggong Superior High School. The method used is qualitative using the interview method. The data source was taken from the results of interviews conducted by the author. This research reveals that teachers are enthusiastic about the flexibility this curriculum offers, but also face a number of challenges. The main motivation of teachers is to create active learners and answer the challenges of the times. The main challenges include adapting teaching modules to the Islamic boarding school context and time constraints, as well as developing effective learning methods. This research highlights the importance of continuous training for teachers in improving professionalism and learning quality. The results of this research provide implications for the development of educational policies and support for teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum.
