APRESIASI HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN SIKAP PERCAYA DIRI DAN PRESTASI MATEMATIKA

Mathematics is an achievement of the learning process of students whose level of success varies and is appreciated in the form of scores and includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, where the results of learning mathematics have an effect on changes in students' skills and abilities due to increased knowledge and understanding of the mathematical material involved. It is said that mathematics is a scientific discipline that can improve thinking and argumentation skills, contribute to solving everyday problems both in the world of education and the world of work, as well as providing support in the development of science and technology so it is important for students to improve their mathematics achievements. This research aims to determine the influence of students' self-confident attitudes in improving mathematics achievement by providing appreciation for students' learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys using self-confidence questionnaires and mathematics test sheets. The subjects of this research were 24 regular class XII students at SYEKH ABDUL QADIR AL JAILANI SMA. This research uses the multiple linear regression method to analyze the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable by hypothesis testing and data analysis procedures carried out with the help of the SPSS application. The results of this research method are hypothesis testing using the F test that the variables self-confidence and mathematics achievement have a significant influence. The T test shows that both variables have an influence, namely the self-confidence variable t = 2.986 and mathematics achievement t = 3.143.
