PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LOGAN AVENUE PROBLEM SOLVING (LAPS) HEURISTIK TERHADAP SELF EFFICACY DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

Students' confidence and math problem solving ability are affective and cognitive aspects of students where both aspects need to be considered important by educators, so a learning model is needed that can encourage both aspects, namely the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) -Heuristic learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic learning model on Self Efficacy and math problem solving skills. This research is a type of Quasy Experiment Design research with Pre-test Post-test control group design. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII B (experimental class) and 28 students of class VIII C (control class). The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. The instruments used were and tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis with regression analysis, coefficient of determination and independent samples test. The results of the test obtained from the analysis of the hypothesis of the student's Self Efficacy questionnaire obtained a sig value of 0.002≤0.05, the percentage of influence was 30.6% and the problem solving ability test obtained a sig value of 0.000≤0.05, and the percentage of influence was 65.2% so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristic learning model on Self Efficacy and math problem solving ability.
